Services Parameters and Turn around Time
Request for:
1) Surrender
2) Cancellation
3) Refund of proposal deposit
Within 5 business days from date of the request or last necessary document
Processing of:
1) Maturity claim
2) Death claim
3) Permanent Total Disability
Within 7 business days from date of the request or last necessary document
Request for:
1) Policy statement
2) Premium payment receipt
3) Statement
Within 2 business days from date of the request
Decision of proposals and communication of decisions including requirements / issuance of the policy
Within 20 business days from the receipt of the proposal or any requirements
Furnishing a copy of the policy proposal to the policyholder
Within 2 business days of submission of a proposal
Post policy issuance service requests regarding errors in the policy document / service requests not related to claims
Within 5 business days from receipt of a request / query.
Refund of proposal deposit
Within 5 business days from the date of underwriting decision on the proposal
Health Claims: Settlement of health claims for which further investigation is not required
30 – 45 business days from the date of receipt of the last necessary document
Health Claims: Settlement or rejection of health claims for which investigation is required
The investigation should be completed not later than 30 – 45 business days from the date of receipt of the last necessary document and the claim shall be settled within 60 – 90 business days from the date of receipt of the last necessary document
